Meet the Team

Psyche, it’s just me.

Josh Paul is a certified menace with impeccable bedside manner; you’re guaranteed to have a good time getting tattooed in his chair. Except for the pain part, I can’t help you there. It hurts. Your friends are lying.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta in 1985 and inevitably trained in the traditional methods of scab-blasting in Nanaimo, BC by Betty B in 2017.

Worked in Vancouver, BC for a few years before the call of home brought him back to Calgary in 2022. He worked at Honor Bound Tattoo for 3 years and has since moved to HIGHWIRE TATTOO, a very cool spot on 17th Ave. Josh specializes in traditional and generally illustrative tattoos, traditional colour and any and all black and grey, which is the best kind of tattoos there are. His dedication to versatility and detail ensures that he can make any style you’ve got your heart set on work wonders with your combined imaginations, and he will do everything in his power to ensure that you get much more than you had in mind.
